I’ve Noticed that The Editor can be sporadic in its display/function for the following

MIDI port select. : the available channels I used to connect my MC8P to the Editor change. sometimes 3-13 or 9-15 etc. It seems that there may be some cross talk between the Other MIDI devices I have active when launching.as advised i always choose the lowest available channel numbers. Insights? Considerations?

The Symbols populate in different orders over different sessions. and Some of the symbols don’t populate on the MC8P. Specifically the clock and a couple of the double direction arrows.

I’m completely lost on what the Edit Midi Channel Tab is isolating when I choose “Engage” or “Bybass” As far as I can tell MC8P is receiving every midi channel I send to it. So I understand it must have utility I’m just lost on what it is. Thoughts and considerations appreciated.

Just to clarify, are you referring to the MIDI Channel in the Controller Settings >> General Configuration section? Do you mean that when you set it, say to channel 1, it will change to a different channel the next time you connect to it?

Can you let me know what MC8 PRO firmware is your device running? You can see it in the Controller Settings tab in the editor

No other Setting I have designated has gone all willy nilly on me.

MIDI port select upon opening the Editor. I believe this is the first selection screen where we are assigning which port to use to allow communication between the editor and the Unit. It has never given me problems. I was just curious why the midi ports that populate in regard to the MC8P change every time I connect. I follow the Manuals direction of selecting the lowest possible option and I rarely have any issues. I was just curious about why it changes the displayed connection so regularly.
