Controlling several UA pedals via USB C

Hi team. I have my UA Startlight pedal working flawlessly with the MC6 Pro. I want to add another UA pedal to my board and use MIDI for it, but the MC6 pro only has one appropriate USB-C input. Is there a way I can connect both of these to the one USB-C input but be able to send MIDI messages to them separately?

Hey there. Use a USB hub connected to the USB MIDI Host port. Just make sure the hub has only USB-C ports because multi-port hubs tend to be problematic.

Yeah, specifically avoid hubs that have HDMI, ethernet, or other non-USB ports.

Thanks! So when things are connected to the hub how do I specify what channel/device to snd the MIDI to via the Morningstar editor?

Each UA device can be set to a specific MIDI channel.

The MC will send all messages out via the USB Host port, so each connected device will receive everything, but will only respond to MIDI messages that matches it’s MIDI channel
