Controlling ML10X/Meris Enzo Through MC6 Pro

I just got an MC6 Pro and a ML10X. Still wrapping my head around all the features.
I have the MC6 Pro set to MIDI through from USB Device to Omniport 1 and DIN5. ML10X is on DIN5, the Meris Enzo on Omniport 1. I am able to send messages from the MC6 Pro to these devices, so the connections work.

In my understanding, these settings should allow me to connect my MacBook via the USB C Device input to the MC6 Pro and be able to edit the MC6 Pro as well as the ML10X and the Meris through its respective editors. However I am only able to edit the MC6 Pro, the other devices are not recognized on my computer.

what am I missing here?

The Enzo needs bidirectional communication with the computer to use the editor.
The omniports are one way. It has to be connected through the DIN or 3.5 ports.

The Meris midi box is needed also. I think I read a specially wired Y cable can be used instead of the midi box but am not sure.
