Control Message Scroll via midi not working as expected

I have presets that use message scroll, so each time I step on the switch I send a new message. I would like to control this via midi, but it’s not working as I expect. My expectations might be wrong, so hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

I can call up the correct bank on the MC6 via midi, no problem. I can then call up the correct preset on the MC6 via midi as well. But I can’t seem to call up the next step in the message scroll.

As an example, I have a midi sequence that sends the bank select message to the MC6 and calls up the correct bank, then I can send a value of 1 on midi CC 11, which calls up preset B and so far all of that works. Now if I want to send a message that will call up the next message in the preset scroll of preset B I assumed that I would send a value of 1 again on CC 11, but nothing happens at that point. So I’m in the right bank and I have the right preset called up, but I can’t seem to figure out how to step through the scroll messages.

Can you share a screenshot of the preset settings in the editor?

As you can see in that example, I can step through three different settings with the foot switch. I want to do with midi what I can do by stepping on the foot switch. Right now all I can get working with midi is calling up the preset initially, but I’m not understanding how I can engage each subsequent message in the scroll.

I think I’ve solved the problem. As an example, if you want to engage Preset A you send a value of 1 on CC number 10, but to step through each of the subsequent messages in the scroll you have to send a value of 2 on CC number 10.
