Computer Keyboard on a MC6Pro USB HOST port?

Hi to all i just received my mc6pro and am new to midi controllers. Apologies if this has been addressed but i may not be using the correct search terms.

In the manual i saw a computer keyboard could be used on the host input to send bank change and page change with arrows as well as preset messages with the keyboard letters. What are the key things to look at

MC6Pro to computer via usb
MC to Devices preamps and amp sim to focusrite (also linked via usb to computer USB c) Focusrite 5 pin back to morningstar mc6pro.

Been playing around with the controller settings mapping and bricked it a couple of times … I thought someone may have solved this already.

There is an issue related to using Computer Keyboards - I believe I’ve sent you an updated firmware via email. We’ll do another firmware update this week with the bug fixes.

Hi. I’ve also been trying to get computer keyboards to work with the MC6-Pro via the USB-C Host port. Is there still a problem with this? Many thanks.

what are you trying to achieve with the keyboard connect to the USB Host port? The MC PRO accepts keystrokes via the HOST port for certain functions like bank up/down or page up/down
