I just discovered that (most?) CB pedals have a SAVE function via MIDI CC, which is awesome!

To make use of it I’d need to send the “Save” CC number (111) followed by the target Program Change number – und here’s a problem:

The only options to send a CC value are a fixed value or “Use value from Expression (pedal)”, and both are not useful in this case. We’d need an option for “Use value from PC Number Scroll”. So I guess this is a feature request – unless I’m missing something?

Surprise! The PC Number Scroll is the same as the CC Scroll!

There are 16 values, and each of those can be used as either PC Number Scroll or CC Value Scroll. So load it with a PC, save it with the same value, but as a CC.

Thanks a lot! I never used CC Scroll yet, so that just didn’t cross my mind. Almost too easy. :slight_smile:

EDIT: Saving via CC seems only possible on newer CB pedals, in my case Mood MKII and Clean, but there it works great.
