Change Bank / Preset from incoming Midi

Is it possible to change the Bank and preset from incoming mini?

I am currently preparing to set up my new rig.
It consists (Shrank down) from a Quad Cortex in the rack, which will be controlled from midi from the backintrackplayer. The Mc6Pro and a tuner will be placed on the floorboard.
The MC6pro will be connected with Midi In and Out to a CME midi distributor.

Now comes the tricky part, at least for me

When the track is playing, it will change to the correct slot on the Cortex; this is running already fine.
During the track, it will change scenes to the desired part like vers, chorus etc., this is also running already.
How can I configure the mc6pro to show me the active preset running from the last Midi trigger that came from the Backingtrack player?

To describe more precisely what I would like to archive during a song:

  • Midi is sent from Backingtrackplayer
–The Quad Cortex changes to its desired preset
–The MC6pro should change the screen so that i can see what scene/preset is active

i cannot find a way to change the preset in the editor from incoming midi :frowning:

Have a read of the ā€œMIDI Implementationā€ section of MC6 PRO User Manual

You don’t do this in the editor, rather you send PC and CC in to the MC from your ā€œoutsideā€ device.

ahh great! i was looking in the wring direction, thank you

Hi, Damian,
Could you advise me how to send a midi cc message from utrack24 so that my mc6pro receives it and converts it to midi clock to send to other devices?

please also write if you know how to set morningstar so that after sending a message from utrack24 it communicates (e.g. blinks) that a signal is being sent.
Please reply
