Can't get loops to pass signal

If all loops are bypassed I can get signal to my amp but as soon as I add a loop it kills the signal. I have double checked cabling and all is good there. It’s driving me crazy!

I saw that James posted this which I do not understand: “A common misunderstanding is to connect the INPUT and OUTPUT of your pedal into the same loop with a splitter cable on the ML10X. Each loop only functions as either a Send or a Return. So you need to connect your pedal’s Input to a Send port, and your pedal’s Output to a Return port.”

I wish the manual had a wiring diagram.

What james post means is that the ML10X has 5 stereo loops. You get 10 ports for those loops, 5 input and 5 output. If you want to use 10 mono pedals you can split the stereo in and output ports. James point is that you need to be aware that if you split loop A into two mono loops, one connecter will have two sends for two different pedals, or two returns for two different pedals. So one pedal always connects to two ports, an input and an output port as opossed to plugging the in and output of the pedal into one stereo port.

Example: You want to connect two mono pedals to the first loop (lets call them ONE and TWO).

You split the first loop A. You wil need to connect the input of pedal ONE (tip) and TWO (ring) to the send port of loop A.

The same pedal ONE needs it output to be connected to the reurn port from loop A (tip), similar for the output of pedal TWO (ring).

Also make sure that if you atached your pedal to the tip, that it is set correctly in the ML10X. From your picture it seems that the ML10X is now connected to the ring of port e. If nothing is connected there, you will get silence.

Hope this makes sense.

Thank you for the reply. I figured it out after watching this vid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fkVAJqgHp0g

I really feel like this could be better explained in the manual and should have a wiring diagram.
