I have my Boss GT1000 Core set to go up and down banks when I make the MC6 bank up and down. I’d like it to work in reverse, as well. It’s my understanding that the Core sends PC messages when it changes banks… I did get this to work with the HX Stomp.

I am using a MIDI controller (Starr Labs Ztar) to change banks on the MC6 Pro, which in turn can change banks (called “songs”) on the Ztar.
The MC is really useful! It’s controlling a bunch of other stuff too.
I’ve tried every setting I can think of, and results range from no response to chaos (MC6 going haywire, blinking, scrolling randomly)

That’s probably a midi loop. If you connect your gt back to the mc you have to make sure to disable midi through on one of the devices. This can be done in ‘controller settings’ of the mc.
The core doesn’t send pc changes by default afaik. But it can definetly be programmed to do so.
