Can MC6Pro omniports act like Meris MIDI I/O via USB to a Mac?

Probably a dumb question, but can MC6 Pro Omniports be connected to Meris pedals, then connected to a Mac via the USB port to use the Meris pedal computer editors?

Just trying to cut down on the amount of MIDI boxes to fit more pedals.

Couldn’t find any info on this so hope it’s possible. Cheers

That will not work because you need bidirectional communication with the Meris pedal. The omniports only send midi info.
