I used to control my Meris Enzo via a TRS cable from the omniport of an MC6. But because the Enzo started doing really strange things when I tried to control a parameter via an expression pedal, I decided to try something different.
I bought a 6.35mm TRS DIN5 cable from Morningstar so I could put the Enzo at the end of my MIDI chain. That seems to have fixed the problem of the Enzo acting strange as soon as I start using my expression pedal. However, as soon as I connect the Enzo to any pedal in my MIDI chain, I get this weird buzzing sound. This doesn’t happen if I connect the Enzo directly to the MC6. Sadly this is not a permanent fix since the Enzo needs to be at the end of the MIDI chain (no midi out).
Any ideas on what is causing this buzzing sound and how I can fix it?
