Is there currently a way to display the decimal selection for the BPM when changing presets on the MC6 Pro? Right now, when I select a preset that is sending a BPM value 71.5, the red BPM indication shows 71. I haven’t found a way to do this or any guidance/discussion on the topic, but it would be great to have this as a feature.
FYI, I sent an email to Morningstar asking about this feature, and they responded with the following: “We are unable to display the decimal values due to space limitations on the device screen.” Personally, I would rather have the decimal display than have the “BPM” indication next to the value, which should take up about the same space as 2 decimal places. Hopefully there are enough people out there that are looking for this that it will become a feature, but I think the only way to monitor BPM to the decimal is through another midi clock device with a display.
This isn’t something I use, but maybe changing the display from “BPM” to “T” (for tempo) could free up space to at least have it to one decimal place. Not sure how many people would need tempo precision past one decimal place.
