I have two aux switches to use with the pro 6 and QC. 1 goes into omniport 1 and is set up to go up and down banks on the MC6 Pro. This all works as wanted.
However the second one which goes into omniport 2 I want to control footswitches D & H of the QC. I can’t figure it out at all.
Any guidance/suggestions please ?
The manual of the QC states that fs A to H can be engaged/bypassed by sending a CC# 35 (A) to CC# 42 (H).
If you set up a preset on the MC to send one of those and then set up the footswitch to trigger those presets it should be working.
This can be done by configuring the omniport in the controller settings.
Set up a ‘fixed switch custom’ which points at the presets you’ve programmed to toggle* the QC’s footswitches.
This setting will be global. But you can change the actual messages of those presets for each bank.
*I believe sending a CC with any value will toggle the preset rather than setting it to engaged or disengaged. The manual isn’t clear about that.
