is there a way for the switch, to “know” if it is on or off in the full preset?
For an instance, I am on a preset where there is no overdrive, so I push my preset V that only turns on the overdrive, I then go to another preset, where my overdriv is on with other effects, and I want to turn it of, when I do that now, I have to push my V press twice, because it wants turn it on(though it is) before it can turn it of!
I hope what I write makes sense
It is because I want to be able to make full presets, but I also want the fredom to alter them with the AUX switches while playing, if you have better ideas on how to do that, please let me know
Hi, sounds like you’ve enabled ‘clear preset toggles’ in bank settings. This should be disabled.
There is a message type called ‘set toggle’ that can be used to manage the toggle states of your presets.
Have a look at this: it focuses on using switches on the MC itself rather than Aux though… if you want to toggle things, you’ll need to use an MC switch/preset, toggling doesn’t work via aux switches because they’re “single action press only” things…
Could you simply use the switch in 2 stages.
Release for on and long press for off.
Using this format for all applications of this type will more likely become intuitive
I personally lean toward banks with presets and then a ‘play’ mode bank with variations like loops on/off
and CC commands.
Rather than a new set of controls for every bank, it feels more cohesive.
I thought I was finally getting somewhere, but now if I make two presets whre the same pedal is engaged trough one off the presets, It turnes off. Any idea what to do?
A-F as my main presets
G-L as instant access to my individual pedals in ML-5
And when I use them in the A-F presets, it remembers witch toogled state the effect has in G-L, I have spend hours and hours trying to program this, and I am just about I give up, I want to use the MC6PRO/ML5 as a more traditional loopsystem, but I can not seem to “get there”
