Automatically switch banks after pressing any button in the bank and waiting a few seconds with no more activity?

I have some mixer controls in a separate bank that I will periodically go to and then tweak a few values. It is currently configured to do a “long press” on the same footswitch to go back to the previous bank… The problem is trying to get back to the previous bank is often difficult because I’m usually in the middle of a song trying to focus on other things.

Is there a way to have the Mixer bank detect that there has been no activity (no switches pressed) for a few seconds and then have it automatically switch back to the previous bank?

Hi,
The short answer is ‘no’ I’m afraid.
I use an external footswitch as sort of a ‘panic button’. I placed it with some free space around it, so stepping in the general direction without ‘aiming’ will do the job. That takes very little mental capacity, maybe it works for you too.
