I have a Quad Cortex with Widiflex attached. Looking to use that with the MC8 Pro but also with an iPad using stage Traxx. So I need to be able to send midi messages from my iPad to the Quad Cortex and also from the MC8 Pro to the Quad Cortex.
At the moment I am attempting to implement the above set up, only I have the M-vave Chocolate Plus (MC8 Pro is on order to replace the M-vave). I am finding that when M-vave attaches to the Widiflex on the Quad Cortex it locks out any other connections, so iPad connection not possible. Alternatively, if I attach my iPad to the Widiflex first, then the M-babe simply will not attach. I have tried Widi groups and doesn’t work as a solution.
So my concern is that perhaps the MC8 Pro (when it arrives in the mail) might exhibit similar behavior as the M-vave when connected to the Widiflex and block out other connections. If that’s the case, then I’m trying to anticipate a workaround.
