A fairly common task that is worthy of easy access. Alternately always add the link to any update notice in the editor.

Also, update the firmware update documentation to be explicit that the update needs a usb connection not a midi connection. This is not 100% clear.

Love this idea. Power up available:

  1. integrate backup, so you’re prompted / recommended to backup before upgrade, and then it happens automagically and drops the json into Downloads.

  2. default to public firmware, with option to download beta (with the usual caveats)
