Ableton control Question

I’m setting up my MC8 Pro similarly to the video that Morningstar Created to control Ableton. I’m trying to create one button that records a clip, stop records, and a long press to undo. I have it working but I’ve noticed I need to press the same button a 4th time to get it to go back to position 1 to re-record in that clip.

Message 1 - records,

Message 2 - stop records

Message 3 - long press to undo ..

At this point I have to press it once more which does nothing but allows me to get position one, recording to start again on the next press.

Is there a way after the long press it automatically goes back to position one to negate that need for another empty press?

You can add a Set Toggle message triggered by Long Press to disengage its own toggle state. This way, your switch will be in position 1 after you long press it. Hope that works!
