The white center strip in the displays changes to black whenever I scroll from Bank 1 to 128 or from 128 to 1. It even does it when I uses the custom bank list with just 8 banks. It turns black going from 8-1 and 1-8. I know it’s software/settings related because a factory reset fixed the problem. But when I reloaded my backup, it returned. Power cycling the controller returns the white bar, but the same problem occurs when cycling from last to first or first to last.
Is there a setting for this I’ve overlooked? I only noticed it yesterday after upgrading to the latest firmware, but I haven’t been playing much lately so can’t say when it started. I find it odd that it only happens when switching from the last to the first bank or vise versa. BTW… 6 Pro and 8 Pro both do it when I load my controller backup.
Yes, the bank color was set to (Ignore) for both text and background. The problem persisted until I saved each bank with white BG and black text. Not a problem because I’m only using 8, but I’ve never had to set it before.
By default, the bank’s background and text color is set to Ignore so if there is bank that changes the color, then the next bank will inherit that color (because it is set to Ignore). So for each of the bank you are using, you’d want to select a specific background and text color if you are using this feature.
Instead of setting the color for each bank, you can also set it different on enter bank, in the bank for which you want it to be different and switch it back to black and white on an on exit bank action for the same bank.
