2x MLX10 Anyone tried?

Does anyone use two?

I’d be interested in having the extra I/Os…

What does this look like in the editor/does it work?

How would you route it?

Thanks!

Just finished my dual ML10X build. Running into some problems, but I worked out one of them, now onto the others. I’ll report back with my findings so you can avoid the headache should you decide to run two of them.

I eagerly await your response!

Just finished my build with 2 ML10X’s today. I am running the second ML10x in loop B of the first ML10x. That allows me to run my drives, amp modeling, and modulation in the second ML10x with a loop left over that I am using as a dry send. You can’t reorder every loop, but the config below will get you pretty close.

As far as the editor goes…you have to open two editors, one for each unit.

ML10X #1:
A Tip - Hoof Reaper Fuzz
A Ring - Pitch Fork
B Tip and Ring - Send to ML10X #2
C Tip and RIng - Empress EchoSystem
D Tip and Ring - Empress Reverb
E Tip and Ring - DECO

ML10X #2
A Tip - Stone Deaf Q Boost
A Ring - Stone Deaf PDF-1X
B Tip and Ring - UAFX Dream '65
C Tip and Ring - UAFX Lion
D Tip and Ring - Strymon Mobius
E Tip and Ring - Send or Audition Loop

Working fine over here. I run editors simultaneously, one with the desktop app and one in the Chrome browser. Works great. I’m currently wondering if I can have a stereo signal path in Simple Mode. So far I’ve only been using Advanced Mode. Apparently there’s no way to save/backup individual presets , only the entire device, which is frustrating. Also appears there’s no way to drag/drop presets or reorder presets at all. Crazy. So I’m off to request those features now haha.

If you make a complex preset, name it, and scroll up on the right there should be a save button… or do you mean something different?

Surely there should be a way to use two devices in the editor… If you’re running them in a Wet/Dry parallel mix or in series two browsers would be fine.

But when you’re trying to use them in a send/return of the first device it gets a bit conceptually difficult (at least for me). What I would really like is a MLX20 Hah

Nice set-up! Thanks for the info and sharing.

Agreed, I’d love an ML20 as well! As long as it was no larger than two ML10Xs haha.

The save button on the top right saves the signal path you’ve created to the preset slot you happen to be on at the time, but I’m looking to save presets to my computer, maybe as a .json file.
